Dan Roberge
Well, Todd, welcome. Only three weeks with our company. How do you like it so far?

Todd Gradson
It's been a wonderful experience. I'm really excited about joining Maintenance Care.

Dan Roberge
Excellent, excellent. You have to say that, though.

Todd Gradson
I'm one of those people that you can kind of, get to know me. I kind of shoot from the hip. So it's genuine. It's authentic.

Dan Roberge
It's good to hear. Yeah. So, what's your background like? Who are you, and what have you done that brings you here now, being the sales director at Gnxcor?

Todd Gradson
So, you know, my background is varied in sales at many different industries, multiple different companies, a lot of them healthcare based, a lot of them software based. But what my goal and the incentive, why I came here is I've had a lot of success building world class commercial operations with sales teams, taking people from low performing or underperforming situations, to situations that were blowing the doors off. So that's what I love to do. And that's my reason for being. And, that's why I joined Gnxcor and Maintenance Care, and I'm loving it so far. We have an awesome team here.

Dan Roberge
Yeah, you've inherited a good team. And your role is to also build the team. So you're strategically adding new members. What would you say is one of your secrets to success on motivating a team and getting them to perform for a company?

Todd Gradson
I'd say understanding what motivates them is really important. And building trust initially is the doorway to understanding what someone's motivation is, because they won't share that unless they trust you. So if you get them to open up, you ask them a lot of questions. They feel comfortable with you. They'll tell you whether it's financial, accolades, awards, pat on the back, being part of something in a winning environment, it all depends.

Dan Roberge
Yeah. And so just in sales in general, you always hear terminologies, and these acronyms for different sales techniques. Are there some that you really like over others.

Todd Gradson
I think it's got to be genuine. It's got to be authentic. And sales is more about listening, figuring out what the problems are. The whole consultative approach is understanding what's important to them, and listen. That's what people care about, what's important to me. If that doesn't resonate with what you're talking to them about, what your product or service is, it doesn't matter.

Dan Roberge
I agree. We're just encouraging to see what we think is great, which is the product. So what do you like about Maintenance Care? Like are there things that stand out this early on about the product itself?

Todd Gradson
Number one, after watching a number of demonstrations, is simplicity. It's so simple, so basic. But you can go deep. You can you can add on, you can add layers upon layers upon layers. So it works for mom and pop, and it works for a multinational corporation. So I like that. And the fact that there's corollary supportive services like Care Clean, assets tagging, and sensors, it's deep, it's deep.

Dan Roberge
Yes. That's true. You have a lot to learn, coming into this new role. But already I've noticed that the team really is rallying around you. And so we're looking forward to the next few years, and all the success, and we'll talk again.

Todd Gradson
Me, too. Thanks Dan.
