Dan Roberge
Phil, you've been working with us. How long now about?
Phil Boone
I would say three years
Dan Roberge
Wow. It's been a roller coaster ride. All good, or What?
Phil Boone
Learning a lot. It's great.
Dan Roberge
Yeah. What have you done? Like, what are the types of things you do?
Phil Boone
So on a day to day basis, I'm reaching out to potential clients. I also am speaking with current clients going through customer service calls, acquiring new business as much as I can, doing live demonstrations throughout, to large audiences or smaller
Dan Roberge
Yeah. So you do a lot of demos. You're a product specialist, and, how many demos would you say you've done so far?
Phil Boone
I would say we are into the over 500 now, so it's the back of my hand, I know the ins and outs for Maintenance Care
Dan Roberge
Yeah. You're a good mentor for our staff. We have a lot of new, younger staff, and they come to you often. What do they come for?
Phil Boone
Advice, some strategy wise. Just set up in general, depending on what industry they're in. Just work around sometimes
Dan Roberge
Yeah. Okay. So what are some of the things that you're looking forward to on the product side? Like some of the new features that Maintenance Care is releasing that maybe some of our customers would want to know about?
Phil Boone
Care One is going to be one of my most cherished modules that we add on, as property management seems to be a growing field for us. And, the ability to have that separation for each facility or each entity, is going to be huge.
Dan Roberge
Yeah. So what it is basically we have right now? Anybody can submit a work order, with just a link clicking on the link. But now that they'll be able to do it with a logged in account so they can separate their tenants or residents, so they have their own account and they don't see each other. So it'll be really good for that. Yeah. There's tons of stuff. Hopefully Volt is getting released soon. We have new reporting, tables for our larger customers, and you're starting to do work on larger customers now. What different strategies are you employing, let's say going after the bigger groups where you're not just doing one demo and it's it's over?
Phil Boone
The angle of leadership. What is good for the entire company as a whole, instead of just a single location. What type of data,
Dan Roberge
Yeah.
Phil Boone
Also the marketing strategies, opening my mind up to different avenues of ways that we can go after industries like that, it's just. Yeah, it's learning
Dan Roberge
Yeah, they're larger groups. They have different levels of decision making. So you have to kind of participate in their events. Their trade shows, market to them differently than just this one off. And you like that doing that stuff?
Phil Boone
I do. Yeah. I like learning a lot. I'm testing my boundaries. Trying to extend them, and not say within my little safe place I've been developing. So it's great. It really is. Working for a smaller business like this is, the opportunities that I get are far vast than what I would in a corporate environment.
Dan Roberge
Yeah. Well, good to hear. We look forward to future years of success together. And thanks for doing this podcast today.
